Any ideas what is plaquing these bougainvilleas and how to treat ?
The leaves with the light and dark areas indicate a lack of nutrients, but I don’t know what’s causing the light brown patches.
Is the problem all over the tree or in selected areas? Am curious if it could be physical damage or damage from cold.
Just bought them from a local nursery, it’s happening all over. I put a little bougain fertilizer to get them some nutrients.
Thanks, still no ideas. Will let you know if something comes to mind.
I grow bougainvillea, I think the problem is excessive moisture in the roots.
The first job I do when buying bougainvillea is to change the soil with 100% inorganic.
But know that the same signs appear on the leaves when there is a lack of water. But rarely this happens in bougainvilleas because they love dry soil.
