Japanese Juniper Shohin

#1

I purchased a shohin sized Japanese Juniper. It’s healthy but in regular planting soil. When would the right time of year be to repot with bonsai soil? I’m in central/west Florida.

In temperate climates, we repot juniper during the dormant season - from November through February where I am, and towards the end of winter/early spring where it gets colder. Would love to hear from a local about when to repot junipers in warmer climates.
