Larix decidua - winter care

I have recently noticed that my pre-bonsai Larix (2) have put out fresh tip growth just as the foliage colour change is beginning. We recently received heavier than usual rainfall for this time of year in Victoria BC.
Will these tips be less hardy, perhaps requiring additional protection over the winter?

No additional care is required, the newer growth will just take a bit longer to change color and drop. The additional warmth over the past few weeks after a short cool spell earlier is the likely contributing as well. Several of my larch did the same thing but my elevation is quite a bit higher than Victoria so they are mostly done at this point! We have only experienced a couple of light frosts so far up Island.
