Looking for shimpaku whips

I am looking for four-five shimpaku whips- kishu or itoigawa- to create a phoenix graft. Up to 24" long. Any idea where I might find some?

Would love to know if there is a good source for them - many people I know make their own as it can be tricky to find long whips.

Best way might be to find a full-size landscape shimpaku that has good foliage and ask the property owner if you can prune it. Some people are surprisingly amenable since it means they won’t have to bother with it themselves.
