Tuberous structures

(Mert Çiftdemir) #1

Hi all,
Tuberous structures appeared at the tip of ! my 2 years old English oak. What are these?

I don’t know what that is. Are these the only ones you’ve seen?

I believe they could be gall midges. I have a large (90 ft) willow oak that occasionally has them.

I’ve made some investigation and spoke with experienced farmers. They’ve told me that those things are galls. I’ve plucked them. My plant is fine now. I am following right now.
