Wild Plum Cutting

one of the three plum cuttings i took has been growing well. I’m not sure if this one was a heel cutting or not, because i did both. i waited till very late may/june after flowering/fruiting. used clonex, too. as soon as i saw new growth on this one, i took them out of the humidity dome. and then the other two that were green still, but not showing new growth, started dropping their leaves and died. oh well.

the massive plum in my yard

The plum cutting looks fantastic! I’ve been growing some plums from cutting and find them to be a lot of fun.
